In the forward and reverse conversion, the impact is very small. One of the main advantages of the air motor reversing operation is its ability to rise to full speed almost instantaneously. The vane air motor can rise to full speed in one and a half revolutions; the piston air motor can rise to full speed in less than one second. Using the control valve to change the direction of intake, you can achieve positive reversal. The time to realize the positive and negative rotation is short, the speed is fast, the impact is small, and there is no need to unload the load.

There is overload protection, not due to overload and failure. When overloaded, the motor speed is only reduced or stopped. When the overload is removed, it can immediately resume normal operation without causing mechanical damage and other faults. Can be a long time full load continuous operation, the temperature rise is small.
It has a high starting torque and can start directly with load. Start and stop quickly. Can be started with load. Start and stop quickly.
Wide power range and speed range. The power is as small as a few hundred watts and as large as tens of thousands of watts; the speed can be from zero to ten thousand revolutions per minute.
Easy to operate, easy to maintain and repair. The air motor has simple structure, small size, light weight, large horsepower, easy operation and convenient maintenance.
Using air as a medium, there is no difficulty in supply, the used air does not need to be treated, and the non-polluting compressed air can be centrally supplied and transported over a long distance.
Because the pneumatic motor has many of the above characteristics, it can work in humid, high temperature, high dust and other harsh environments. In addition to being used in mining machinery in rock drilling, drilling, loading and other equipment for power, shipbuilding, metallurgy, chemical industry, paper and other industries are also widely used.
